DO NOT use electrical stimulation without first checking with your health professional if you have an IUD or pessary, metal implants or clips such as Filshie clips used for tubal ligation. Click HERE for other contraindications and to see how electrical stimulation works.
US customers we cannot supply electrical stimulation machines to the US click here

What can I use Neurotrac® Continence for?

Women can use Continence with vaginal, anal or external electrodes (to be purchased separately)
Men can use electrical stimulation with either anal or external electrodes (to be purchased separately)
Please note the unit is not supplied with an electrode  in order to allow you to choose the most suitable one from our electrode range

It can be used for a range of pelvic health conditions:

  • strengthening pelvic floor muscles - use the programs called 'stress' PO3, PO4, or 'building up endurance' PO9
  • bladder or bowel urgency - use the programs for 'urge' or 'frequency/freq' PO2, PO5, or PO6
  • pelvic pain - use PO1 Pelvic Floor Pain

Not everyone will respond to the pre-set programs, often setting an individualised custom program will give better results. See a pelvic floor physiotherapist for advice. These can be set in PC1,2,3 or 4.
PC4 allows you to set continuous parameters which means you can use it as a TENS machine

Features

  • 9 built in programmes
  • 3 customisable, work/rest  programmes which are simple to set up
  • Records the average current used plus the time in use along with the ability to lock the unit.
  • Widely used by physiotherapists in their practices and you can now bring the same technology to the privacy of your own home, in a simple, user-friendly  compact and reliable stimulation device. It is the best value of our home electrical stimulation units for the pelvic floor .

STIMULATION

  • Dual channel: individually isolated circuits.
  • Amplitude: 0 - 90 mA into 500 Ohm load; indication only. Actual mA will tend to be less than indicated due to electrode impedance: at 1000 Ohms load (Electrodes in poor condition) the maximum will be limited to 70 mA, at 1500 Ohms load the maximum will be limited to 65 mA.
  • Type: Constant Current, maximum output voltage 180 Volts +10 / -30 Volts
  • Waveform: Asymmetrical, rectangular bi-phasic with zero DC current.
  • Selectable pulse width: 50 μS - 450 μS [2% accuracy].
  • Pulse Rate selection: in the continuous mode 2 Hz - 100 Hz [2% accuracy].
  • Time duration of the treatment selectable: 1 minute to 90 minutes.
  • Low Battery Indicator: If the battery goes below 6.9 volts +/- 0.2 volts the battery symbol will flash on/off once every second.
  • Open Electrode Detect: If an open circuit is detected at the output of channel A or B the output current will be reset at zero.
  • Ramp up time 0.3 - 9.9 seconds.
  • If the battery voltage is below 6.6 (+/- 0.2) volts the unit will not turn on.
